Eyes Open Initiative

30 million without insurance

44 million underinsured

More than statistics.

Medicare For All

"I don't want to lose my private insurance"

is a common response to the prospect of Medicare for All

But what about everyone else?

How can Americans ignore the millions without access to medical care?

The answer might be simple:

Statistics Aren't People

Statistics are difficult to relate to the people in your everyday life.

Voters are continuously bombarded with huge numbers and become desensitized to the fact that those numbers are actually people.

So, what's the solution?

We think the solution is to reveal the healthcare reality of people in everyday life.

Introducing Eyes Open

Our Revolution Los Angeles is launching the Eyes Open Initiative, a series of lapel pins to show the world that you are more than a statistic and

that you demand healthcare as a right for every person in this great country.

Pins are 1" diameter Cloisonné hard enamel over "gold finish" Made in America! Each pin comes with the Machinists Union label stamped on the back.

With a suggested donation of $15, you will be gifted the pin color of your choice.

Join The Initiative Now!

Be the first to join our initiative.

Make a small $15 donation and we will send you a lapel pin before our January 1st kick-off.

I'm willing to fight for someone I don't know.

In 2016, Bernie Sanders fought to bring Medicare For All into the national discourse.

In 2019, many of the Democratic candidates have used the language of Medicare For All as a major part of their platforms. These platforms, however, are not created equal.

Medicare For All is what guarantees all Americans health coverage.

The Eyes Open Initiative will launch January 1, 2020.

Let's make sure that when our lawmakers shake their constituent's hand,

they are looking at the story of that person's healthcare.

How Your Donation Helps

Our Revolution Los Angeles understands that our country is not thriving unless all of us are thriving. It’s uncomfortable to acknowledge, but our current leadership does not value the health and well being of our nation’s most vulnerable, marginalized communities. We have been desensitized to the staggering number of Americans without the basic healthcare.

Our organization will use these donations to organize for political candidates that believe in the American idea of equality.  We support candidates who are champions for the working class and fight for legislation that promotes justice for all Americans, no matter who they are or where they come from.

We understand some people cannot make donations due to their financial circumstances.  If that is the case, please consider volunteering. Your time is the most important part of this movement. We appreciate your support and commitment.

We only win together.
